The staff were excellent, always there without imposing. The facilities and activities are what you would expect of a resort and the ambiance is 2nd to none. Definitely the best family resort in Cebu, a pleasure for sure.
The conformt of the place spa is nice.
Beach is very small. Food and breakfast was expensive and food quality not good for the price. Price is high price in booking was a little higher that directly on the hotel.
The staff here are amazingly helpful and lovely. The food is pretty good (fresh mangoes are insanely good). There is a good range of things to do rain or shine. It is very safe for the kids, and loads of swimming pools.
As all good resorts are designed, this place is miles from anywhere else. If you are an adventure hound like me, this can get a bit old. Be advised it is all man-made (but fake rocks are safer at the end of the day than the ragged real thing)
Staff was frinedly and they transport you within the resort on golf buggies. Lots of activities to keep you busy. The view from your room over the lagoon.
Was a bit expensive but not to bad for the service you get.
A very well laid out facility. Recommended to all
We did not receive the original booked room. The alternative was good, however we had to wait for two hours before it was released to us.
My kids loved it. They have been to hotels all over the world, but they tell me that this is there favourite. "It's awesome!" They are 8 and 9 years old, and the pools and entertainment were ideal for their age group. And I was utterly delighted with the consistently top quality service we received from every member of your staff. Well done! I am a picky traveller, so when I say I think your resort was excellent I really mean it.
the staff were friendly and helpful.. the room was spacious.. lovely bathroom
the lagoon area was tired and needs upgrading. the hotel was expensive ..the food was expensive.. 15 pounds each for breakfast was extortionate as it was not a 5* hotel by any stretch of the imagination. we were not aware that July to November was the rainy season.. the weather was dull.(.not the hotel's fault obviously), but we were bored a lot of the time and the entertainment was ruined every evening by the rain!!
I like the nature and the swimming pools and walk ways ..and in somehow I like the "no tipping" policy although its weard and I like the staff smile and help and the quick response of any request.
1- its terrible transportation to the city of cebu or the malls or anywhere. 2- the food policy is very bad .. you cant walk around for food and the food inside the hotel are overpriced against the quality. 3- all restaurants are closed by 11 pm or 12 which make no place to go out for fun at all :-( I hope they can make a club where resedence can network and enjoy the fun that the place provide
The place is nicely designed although I find it not cozy at times because of lack of transportation around the area. A good train style could add up to the thrills of family staying in the hotel even just for an overnight. We could have enjoyed the place better if access and info on the facilities to enjoy are publicly announced. The lagoon needs refurbishing and extensive clean up. Suggest a more guest-oriented approach to create a more friendly ambiance.
it was cool place...and most of staff quiet freindly..
i think there's some problem their on line systme..even thogh I booked throgh Booked.net..they could'nt reconized my booking!! and it's pretty hard to going out to city..too remoted place..
For a 5 star location the food & beverage was very very expensive and as for quality it was poor. Well below the standard to be expected.
Really friendly staff, a lot of activities to do.
Drinks (non alcoholic) was to expensive, more than 6 times outside the resort.
Availability of beach towels was an annoying issue you will not expect from such 5-star, expensive resort
The design of the hotel is nice and the stuff was always friendly and helpful. Butler service is really helpful in case you have young children and need a baby sitter for couple of hours.
Hotel is really far from everything, so in case you need to go shopping or dinning outside you need to take taxi for at least 20-30 minutes and the surroundings area doesn't look safe at all. Food and drinks inside the hotel are 5-10 times more expensive then outside. They provide only 1l of bottled water per day per room and the extra one costs 2 euros (in the outside Mall 10 l bottled water has cheaper price then 1 l in the hotel). Butler service is useful if you need to leave someone with your kids, but you can't do it for long time, since baby sitters are not experienced and they can't handle babies well. The natural beach in the resort is really small and ugly and there is no any other beach closer to the resort, so the only option you have is to stay at the pool or inside lagoons.
I liked the overall surrounding- the trees, the quiet place and the lagoons. It is a very nice place to relax in. I liked the no tip policy.
I didnt like the fact that the door knob going into the patio of our room was defective.
